氧化铍 制备方法及用途

合成制备方法

将含有杂质的碳酸铍制成碱式醋酸铍,再制成硝酸铍,然后加热使硝酸铍分解而制得氧化铍。

将碳酸铍溶解在经过二次蒸馏的热的冰醋酸中,趁热过滤,骤冷使碱式醋酸铍沉淀析出。再用冰醋酸重结晶三次,然后离心分离,将沉淀装在干燥的玻璃管中,通入干燥空气,加热至250℃,使碱式醋酸铍升华。将如此精制过的样品装在事先用水蒸气熏蒸过的清洁的硬质圆底烧瓶中,与纯的浓硝酸共热,则生成硝酸铍,加热至1100℃,硝酸铍分解得到氧化铍。该产品通常每克含N2、O2气体035mL。

提纯方法如果需要高纯度的氧化铍,可将上述硝酸铍转变成碳酸铍,再使其加热分解。具体步骤如下:加热硝酸铍的酸性溶液使过量的酸除去,用少量水溶解残渣,加入碳酸铵(在铂皿中),直到产生的沉淀再度溶解而溶液澄清,将溶液蒸发至碳酸铍结晶析出。用水尽量洗涤,然后用新蒸馏的乙醇洗涤,将产品干燥,最后放于铂皿中,在900℃的电炉中灼烧成氧化铍。

用途

制造铍氧化物、陶瓷、玻璃。核反应器燃料和减速剂。有机反应催化剂。
