增甘磷是一种叶面施用的植物生长调节剂,亦可作收获前的脱叶剂。主要用途是甘蔗和甜菜催熟并增加糖分。美国于1972年首先作为甘蔗催熟剂推向市场。佳用药时间是甘蔗收获前9周,用药量24~45g有效成分/100m2,可使甘蔗提早成熟15~40d,增产蔗糖1%左右;若用于甜菜在收获前30d施药,用药量5.7g/100m2,增糖10%;用于棉花脱叶,在吐絮期喷洒,用药5.7g/100m2,1周内有75%~99%棉叶落叶。
