乙二醇苯醚(KL-EPH)是一种典型的高沸点有机溶剂,它略带玫瑰香味,低挥发,高沸点的无色透明液体,其熔点14℃,沸点245.2℃,折光率1.534。由于其能和许多有机溶剂混溶,渗透性强,与异佛尔酮(俗称783)、DBE、苯甲醇比综合性能突出,可全性能替代使用。KL-EPH对丙烯酸树脂、硝基纤维素、乙基纤维素、环氧树脂、醇酸树脂、苯氧基树脂等各种树脂具有极好的溶解性,能与醇、醚混溶,俗称“万能溶剂”。用于合成增塑剂、杀菌剂、香料和药物等。
