维生素B5(d-泛酸钙) 为白色粉末；无臭，味微苦；有引湿性；水溶液显中性或弱碱性反应。 在水中易溶，在乙醇中极微溶解，在氯仿或乙醚中几乎不溶。具制造抗体功能，在维护头发、皮肤及血液健康方面亦扮演重要角色。
